Hand-Selected Specimens
I’m a mineral enthusiast. I choose pieces I like or that I’d want for my own collection. I buy directly from wholesalers and dealers, but not in large quantities. As you can see, many of my pieces are one of a kind. I don’t, generally speaking, buy entire flats of minerals. Instead, I hand select each piece you see listed as if it were meant for my own collection.
Concerning provenance, I have a handful of dealers I trust to source minerals for me at excellent prices. I tend to avoid dealers I don’t know, simply because I want only natural minerals, though there is always the rare case where an openly altered mineral still manages to charm me. If a mineral in my stock has been altered in any way (dyed, irradiated, lab grown) and I know about it, I’ll post it in the listing. If I know, you’ll know. If I even suspect, I’ll post that too.
